Fairly uncommon to see on the web, here is a traditional eave detail (shown in elevation and cross-section) with some fairly specific aspects. First of all, the roof rests on a stud wall with an air cavity and brick veneer. The roof edge has a radius and has an integrated gutter. The finished roof surface is shown as slate. The squiggly lines in the section indicate insulation in the walls and attic space. A basic interior finish is shown as drywall with a plaster crown. Feel free to contact me with any questions.
