Greg Shue is the president of Shue Design Associates, PLLC, which he founded in 2010. He is a graduate from the College of Architecture at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte (1997) and received his Master of Architecture from the Academy of Art University (2016). Greg has helped the firm build relationships with top-notch consultants and contractors, and by maintaining close affiliations with professional organizations.
Greg has experience with several building types throughout the United States and in Europe. His residential work, including primary residences, seasonal and vacation residences, apartments, and townhouses, has been published in magazines and books. His institutional work includes churches, private schools, and buildings and master plans for universities. Greg has also contributed to master plans for new and existing towns and neighborhoods.
Greg is a Fellow Emeritus of the Institute of Classical Architecture & Art and is now a Director of the North Carolina Chapter.
In May 2010, Greg was awarded the Hannah McCarthy Smith Memorial Scholarship to study in Rome with the Institute of Classical Architecture & Art.
Greg is a registered architect in the states of North Carolina and New York and is NCARB certified. He is an active member of the American Institute of Architects, Architects Creating Homes, and the Institute of Classical Architecture & Art.
