Greg Shue is the president of Shue Design Associates, which he founded in 2010.  He began his career as a design professional after graduating from the College of Architecture at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 1997.  He has been ambitiously pursuing excellence in residential design through his work on several building types with world-renown architects such as Robert A.M. Stern, Anne Fairfax & Sammons, and Ferguson & Shamamian.  This has been bolstered by building relationships with top-notch consultants and contractors, and by maintaining close affiliations with professional organizations. Greg is currently pursuing his Master of Architecture degree with anticipated graduation in Spring of 2016.

Greg has experience with several building types throughout the United States and in Europe.  His residential work, including primary residences, seasonal and vacation residences, apartments, and townhouses, has been published in magazines and books.  His institutional work includes churches, private schools, and buildings and master plans for universities.  Greg has also contributed to master plans for new and existing towns and neighborhoods.

Greg is a Fellow Emeritus of the Institute of Classical Architecture & Art and is now a Director of the North Carolina Chapter.

In May 2010, Greg was awarded the Hannah McCarthy Smith Memorial Scholarship to study in Rome with the Institute of Classical Architecture & Art.
