Sunset Beach, NC Mixed Use

Shue Design Associates had a mixed-use vision for a piece of commercial land in Sunset Beach, NC. The vision was to create a vibrant and walkable community that would include a mix of retail, office, and residential space. The architect worked with the developer clients to create a master plan that would achieve this vision.

The master plan included a variety of features that would make the community inviting and attractive. These features included:

A pedestrian-friendly streetscape with wide sidewalks, trees, and public art
A central plaza that would be a gathering place for residents and visitors
A mix of retail shops, restaurants, and cafes
